I’ve been fortunate to work at some great companies during my blossoming career. Microsoft internships, Redfin, Conenza and now BlogTalkRadio have all played great parts in shaping who I am today. They are all very challenging and exciting places to be as a young adult, finding your way through the wilderness of life. Below are some pictures I thought you’d enjoy of my first days at Redfin. If these pictures don’t get you excited to work at a startup, I don’t know what will!
This is our first holiday party. The festivities took place at Glenn’s house. It was a perfect size gathering. We had just raised our Series A round from Madrona.
This is our second holiday party. This also took place at Kelman’s house. Notice how much bigger the crowd was. His plant had died because someone spilled something in it. I still feel bad for that plant. Needless to say, we had to move the party to a bigger place the next year.
Our first BBQ party at Paul Goodrich’s house. It was a grand day, filled with water sports. I don’t think Matt had even worked a single hour yet and he already was enjoying the fun.
Bahn and I in front of our first eastside listing in Bellevue. Notice the crazy orange sign.
We always had lots of pizza.
The 60 minutes shoot. I missed out on this picture because I was in the back office producing some designs for the new site. Rats. Still wish I would have gotten in this shot.
We co-hosted a party with Techcrunch. It was also the release of Redfin 2.0. My truck’s engine died from hauling all of these kegs.
McGarty and I coordinating pink shirt days.
